LiveCambridge.org is an independent website about visiting, living in, and discovering Cambridge, New York. This Privacy Policy explains what information LiveCambridge may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

You can browse most of LiveCambridge without providing your name or email address.

My Cambridge
My Cambridge allows you to save places, pin favorites, build or save itineraries, select housing preferences, and create a personalized collection.
My Cambridge is designed to work primarily using storage in your web browser. This allows your selections to remain available when you return using the same browser and device without requiring you to create an account.
Information stored locally may include saved places, pinned places, itinerary selections, home or housing preferences, and other settings used to personalize your experience.
Clearing your browser’s site data or using a different browser or device may remove or prevent access to this locally stored information.
Your locally stored My Cambridge collection is not automatically associated with your identity simply because you use these features.
Information You Send Us
If you use a contact form, request that your My Cambridge collection be emailed to you, request updates, or otherwise contact LiveCambridge, we may receive information you voluntarily provide, such as:
your name;
email address;
business name or website, when applicable;
the subject or reason for contacting us;
your message;
email preferences you select; and
information from your My Cambridge collection that you choose to submit as part of an email or export request.
Information submitted through certain forms may be processed using Google services, including Google Apps Script and Google Sheets, for purposes such as receiving submissions, maintaining contact records, and sending requested emails.
Email Updates
Asking LiveCambridge to send you a copy of your My Cambridge collection does not, by itself, mean that you have agreed to receive ongoing promotional emails.
If you separately choose to receive updates, we may send information related to the preferences you selected, such as new places, seasonal ideas, visitor information, or housing and relocation updates.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe method provided in those messages or by contacting us.
Analytics & Website Technology
LiveCambridge may collect basic technical and usage information to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Depending on the services enabled on the site, this may include information such as pages viewed, interactions with website features, referring pages, approximate device or browser information, and aggregate engagement with features such as saves or itinerary tools.
LiveCambridge may use Framer and other service providers to host, operate, measure, and improve the website.
We do not use My Cambridge to create an account-based profile of you unless you choose to provide information that connects your activity to you.

Information stored by My Cambridge in your browser remains there until it is removed by the website, by you, or through your browser or device settings.

We may periodically delete information that is no longer needed.
Your Choices
